Family Medicine
We are all interested in every person of every age, and we’re here to help you with any problems, issues, specific illness or injury or even just a chat to keep you on track with your lifestyle, nutrition or exercise.
Travel Medicine
We are a registered travel medicine clinic. Vaccinations (including yellow fever) are available at the practice, and travel advice is given by all doctors.
Women’s Health
Several of the doctors have a Diploma of Obstetrics, and are accredited to perform antenatal shared care. Such a gorgeous time of life, we love to support you through these exciting days!
Pap smears are performed by all doctors, and general checks and STD checks are available. Please let us know when you book if you prefer a female doctor for these kinds of issues.
Several of the doctors are qualified to insert Implanon (the contraceptive implant) and the Mirena IUD (intrauterine device).
Skin Checks
Our doctors can check your moles and lumps, keep tabs on any that show signs of trouble and refer you on if needed. We suggest annual visits for these kinds of checks so make sure you rebook before you leave.
Men’s Health
Any concerns related specifically to men, men’s concerns, including general health, prostate checks and STD checks. Please let us know when you book if you prefer a male doctor for these kinds of issues.
Immunisations
Children’s immunisations are available at the surgery, and many parents prefer their babies and children to be vaccinated by their own doctor. Our nurses can also perform these. The four-year-old vaccination also comes with a health check.
Specialist travel vaccinations are also available (see above).
Pathology
Melbourne Pathology has a nurse at our practice to perform pathology every day. This means if you need a blood test, you can simply stay at the practice and have it done straight away, no need to attend a separate pathology clinic. You can arrange to fit in tests before your GP appointment if you require it.
Physiotherapy
Our qualified physiotherapist James Nguyen is available for physio appointments. He has particular interest in orthopedic rehab and chronic pain management. Contact reception to make a booking.
Home Visits
If you are unable to attend the surgery due to mobility issues or injury, please let reception know and we can arrange a home visit.
Nursing Home Visits
As part of our comprehensive service we visit many different local residential facilities to care for our patients as they age. We are also happy to take on the care of your loved ones if they have moved to a local nursing home and their usual GP does not visit our area.
Practice Nurse Visits
As part of our ‘over 75’ health assessment program, it’s possible for our nurse to visit you at home.
